While my beautiful wife is otherwise indisposed at the moment (knitting in the other room), I would like to cover what she neglected to list as background info.

1) We were just arriving at the Big Ol’ Wing of Fancy Medical Machines, so there were also x-rays, CT scanners, and possibly a flux capacitor or two in addition to the sonogram room.

2) The Desk Tech waiting on us had been dealing with folks on crutches and other varoius car accident victims for most o’ the morning. In the monotony, she neglected to bother looking up and take note of the obviosulness of my exceptionally svelt wife being preggers.

We now return you to regularly scheduled activities. Enjoy your day. And Go Vikings!

That is so weird anyway…why would a doctor’s office ask you if the pregnancy was planned or not??

I understand that a better choice of words would be to say surprise…but isn’t it just semantics…why do they care if the pregnancy was a “surprise” or not.
