I have so never been into M.S. But you could put a new spin on this for me.

I’m usually just lazy and buy the sanitizer crap at Walmart.

I have some yummy soap (olive oil lemon verbena I think) from Trader Joes that I keep in my kitchen. My hands dry out so badly in the winter I have to use something gentle. ….that reminds me, my Aunt used to keep Jergans cherry almond lotion in her kitchen to use after she washed the dishes…..everytime I smell that stuff I am back in her blue and white kitchen.

Or you can just throw that cool stuff out (or down) and use some good ole’ hydrochloric acid. That’ll chase off the germs and as an added bonus, take off your skin. You won’t have to worry about dryness anymore.

Preschool has made me a germaphobe…correct that…an even bigger germaphobe. I need to get me some germ killer for the moment I get her out to the car. Interested to hear a review of your DIY sanitizer.

Have you tried it yet? I think I’d just be switching soaps, but it’s interesting to now that you can make your own hand sanitizer! ;P

You know what else totally rocks? honey & olive oil handsoap, I have a recipe somewhere….it makes your sink feel like buttah..

Change your soap. Most soaps now days have detergents in them, that strip your skin of the oils that occur naturally which leave you moisturized. That “tight clean” feeling you get when you get out of the tub, is dry skin.

Use a handmade soap, preferably goats milk (closest in Ph balance to human skin). :p
