Perfect Post Award – November

Who knew that labeling yourself a failure could get you an award eh?

How about that telling of moving from a glorious home to a crappy one could make my heart expand three sizes for how hard that must have been?

Or being ostracized from those around you makes me wish I could go back in time and space so we could hang out?

This story was all about being insanely unhappy in an unchangeable situation and then finding the bootstraps and the big girl panties (that I totally bet were sexy black lace) and completely revamping the situation into one where she felt good about herself, she found herself. She has this quote in her story:

“… I was finding myself and carving out something that I could say was mine, not something that I was dragged into.”

I so completely love that she redefined her experience, that she looked at her life and decided that she could do better. I’m completely lifted up by her attitude and for that, I humbly give the November Perfect Post Award to Jen of Get In The Car! for “Air Force Wife: Failure.”

Ta DAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

Yay to EVERYONE who backed up my crazy of “yep, it ain’t there sister” and to karen who backed me up on the crazy of “…. um except in Safari…..”

Ewokmama, L-Squared, Sarcastic Mom, Natalie and Kelly O who patiently used small words that after a day soaked through my head to make me go …. OH they mean go edit my CSS code and insert an image like I would insert an image for some bling bling …. Which then made me know what words to type into the WordPress help … and after dropping my header into pretty much every line of the code – here it is.

Wheeeeeee……….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Header???

If you could help me out – that’d be fantastic -

fill in the blanks in the following sentence:

I am looking at your site on a (PC/Mac), I am using (insert browser here), I (can/can’t) see your header.

Examples:

I am looking at your site on a Mac, I am using Safari, I can see your header.

I am looking at your site on a Mac, I am using Firefox, I can’t see anything.

I am looking at your site on a Mac, I am using Camino, I can’t see f@cking sh!t and I’m thinking of throwing this computer across the room.

(All are my statements and both are true for me … arrrrrghhhhhh!)

This is the header that is *supposed* to be showing (except, ya know, header sized)

(edited: Um. I have no idea anything about “source code”. I followed the directions to upload the header, it failed, I tried again, it failed, I saved it several different ways, it failed – in every format but Safari for Mac. You rock for even knowing the term.)
