I LOVE that house! Our house is the same size and I hate it. It's too much to keep up with and I've tried to talk Mark into moving but he ain't havin' it. I'm sorry... the room went a dim green when you said 2400 feet. We're rocking about 1200 here, with two adults and three very loud children. It's not the size that counts, it's the high plastic-to-human ratio that's killing us here. And the one bathroom thing. I just worked out the square footage of my house, just for you. 830sqft if you're interested. 2 kids, a dog and a shitload of mice. Also, enough books to fill an entire room. It's nice. Mommentator only misses your insight. In my neck of the woods, painting your house these cute colors would probably be akin to trying to legalize gambling. I am certain the historical society would have to come out and approve the aesthetic nature of my scheme. Meanwhile, all of the members live in rundown shacks with old Cooter working outside on the carborator. But, *they* have authority because their grandma's cat settled here in the early 1880's.
