mmm. Vampires!
Little known factoid about me. I love me some vampire goodness.
I could totally be her:
He’s TOTALLY on my laminated list (even though my husband is hotter):
Loved this book:
(and NO Janet – this book is SO not Roo appropriate!)
Janet’s Roo is hooked on these books:
and then Scout goes and shows me this link where he has a friend who’s a real live author who has completed real books that I could download in no time flat AND the last one is a vampire book.
Five bucks, vampires, and the first book in the series said it had lots of sex in it. Yum. I’m seeing this all as a win win situation here! If you need me I’ll be reading … um … cleaning … um … cooking … oh screw it – I’ll be off reading

So did you love The Historian? Cause tho I liked Buffy, I wouldn’t say I was a vampire person. But, The Historian is a book like no other.

Ooh, another writer to check out. Do let us know how it is. I wonder if I can download it to my reader? You should also try the Carpe Demon series.

Carpe Demon is good stuff — although I’ve only read the first one. I’m also a fan of the “Undead” series — I think the 5th one just came out in regular paperbacks. Same author (Mary Janice Davidson) also has some fun warewolf stuff (it overlaps sometimes).
My new find in the fun-reading section is “Garden Spells” by Sarah Addison Allen. No vampires, but there is magic in a small town family.

I love Vampire books, too. Twilight is being made into a movie coming out on December 12th. Yep, I know the day and yep, I will probably be standing there with a bunch of teenagers getting my tickets on opening day. The books are really good if you haven’t read them yet.

Oh, I can understand your choices for your list, although I’m not big into the vampire thing… Although you did say the book has some, umm, like intimacy in it?
Maybe I would like it for that reason…

You know, I remember reading those Anne Rice books a really long time ago – long before the movie – and they were so good.
I wonder if they’ve held up…

Woo hoo! I love vampires, too. I have Twilight on my shelf but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. Glad to know it’s a good one!
I read a vamp book recently but for the life of me I can’t remember the name of it. It was SO good, though. I will find out which one it was and send you an email.
