Thankfully, my son sleeps through everything. A few nights ago lightning struck somewhere in our complex and the thunder was the loudest I’d ever heard. I almost peed my pants it was so loud and out of nowhere. Anyway, it was near midnight, so my first thought was to make sure the Little Mister was okay.
He was sound asleep.
Go figure.

Hahaha, well haiku’d frustrations. I kind of like the whole fireworks thing if people are being safe, but it’s probably very different when the ruckus wakes a baby…

You write what most of us are thinking- at least me, for sure. We have to drive 17 miles to the nearest ‘legal’ fireworks – it’s easier to watch it on TV now! And easy to change the channel.
