Isn’t it great how some words just make you giggle?
I have a friend who is incapable of keeping a straight face if you say the word ‘jism’ to him.
I have another friend who is totally creeped out by both ‘crevice’ and ‘moist’ – to which, I of course just say “put your hands together my friend” and taunt with the ‘moist crevice’.
The moist thing has even come up on Dead Like Me and over here. Both times I just died laughing because, apparently Rake isn’t alone in the ick factor.
What words make you giggle … or cringe?
Moist. Hee hee. Makes me giggle too.
Moist makes me cringe. Also? Discharge. GAH!
I have a friend that hates the word, “moist,” as well. And I think a lot of people hate ‘the C word.’
There are really no words that make me uncomfortable. Anyone that knows me and my battle to stop swearing like a sailor knows that.
I do, however, laugh everytime there is any instance of ’69.’
“Honey, it’s 69 degrees outside! Hahaha!”
Yeah, we’re real mature around here.
HA! My husband hates the word moist as well! He also hates the words creases and panties, which I think is hilarious and I taunt him with those words on a regular basis. 🙂
my bff can’t hear “moist” either…! too funny.
Mommy off the Record
I don’t think I’ve ever heard the words “moist” and “crevice” together in a sentence. But now that I have, I officially dislike the words too.
Well! It appears I’m not alone in my freak-ness over the “m” word. Perhaps I need to start a support group for us . . .
The word I can’t stand, quite irrationally, is a four-letter eff word. Not that one. And it’s weird, because my sense of humor is really quite juvenile.
Two friends and I had a conversation about this in college and came up with the grossest sentence ever.
Monster my cunt you filthy, crotch, slacks master!
