For the record – I’m not getting any dollars to post this – I *am* pimping out my friend Angie and her store because Scout and I did all the shopping for all 8 kids we needed to buy for in about 20 minutes and we got to do it sitting on our asses.

Step 3. Show Scout my preselected list. Let him make final choices.
Why this is a win-win? I for sure like all the presents selected, they pass my Mommy/favorite Aunt criteria AND my Elementary/Early Childhood Education AND Speech Pathology and Audiology degrees are happy that I bought presents that are great learning tools AND I got to support a mom based business AND a bud! Scout gets to make quick choices from a limited selection and spend less than 20 dollars a piece on every present except for one. Leaves us more money and time to eat ice cream together.

I would pick the firefighter set. My son loves firetrucks and this would be a great set to own.
My son would love the policeman set. He told me today he wants to be an architect, construction worker, doctor, fireman, EMT, financial analyst and policeman when he grows up. I told him it’s a good idea but I don’t think he’ll have time to do all that so he told me he’s going to be a policeman for the firemen and the one who helps the burned people, but only from the houses he designed and built and he would have alot of money. Great imagination but I think policeman would do for now.
I love the chef pretend play outfit and think that would be the one I would select. The firefighter outfit also is really cute.
I’d pick the chef outfit. My nieces are very girl-y and pretty much only like pink things.
While I would love the chef or veternarian my boys would think they could cook in the kitchen or bother our poor little dog. I think we would be safer with little firefighters running around or little construction workers
