Nursery decorating part one:
Pottery Barn Kids curtains.
Bed Bath and Beyond hardware. And I swear ya’lls, I should have taken photos and blogged how effing long it took me to get the thing out of the package. It was hermetically sealed in scissor deflecting plastic bordered by cardboard. It took me longer to get the thing out of the package than it did to attach to the wall. No lie. I won’t buy another product from them for sure. (I think is an Umbra brand curtain rod.)
Supah cute quilt that of course can’t be used with the baby for a while.
Hanging on the wall by a 3 dollar cafe rod. I’m supah proud of this quilt hanging action.
PBK baskets and liners – the dresser is an old TV stand that friends of ours were going to throw out because the door was busted off. I took the door and the hinges off, primed and painted, and got myself a new, shiny, free dresser. (Okay, it’s not a dresser but my brain is *not* coming up with the right word right now.)
More of my cheapskate mixed with stuff I spend too much money on Monday!

It looks amazing!
I am thinking of taking Amy’s toybox upstairs so that she leaves me alone for a bit first thing of a morning (she climbs out of bed by herself).
That will probably be the extent of my decorating. I use my whole house as a nursery.

Gor-gee. Hey, I need a wife this week and it looks like you are doing pretty well..Ms Decorator Extraordinaire…would you come be my wife this week? Because Oh.My.God next week is THANKSGIVING and I have three tests Wednesday and five papers to finish and no clothes, because half my wardrobe is covered in Divine Wine. HELP!!

Awesome. I especially love the new life you gave to the TV stand. Very nice and the baskets look a whole lot nicer than a regular dresser.

I’m even cheaper – the only thing in Jack’s room I bought was a cube shelf from Target with canvas drawers in it. Cost me less than $50 and I used a gift card. 😛
How is the quilt hanging on that rod? I really like that idea. We have a few quilts for Jack and I figure since we never use them we could at least hang them. (Actually, one quilt is on the back of a chair in our living room and as soon as he gets a bed, it will go there. And it came in handy when we had the fire scare.)

Oooh, you’re good!
*Love* the baskets on your self-made shelf.
I laughed when I saw the quilt hang – I hung the little comforter that came with Braden’s bed set on the wall, too… but I am so freakin’ cheap (or lazy?) that I used thumbtacks and safety pins. You did much better. 😀

Just adorable! I’m a big quilt fan – especially handin’ on the walls – cute. See ya.

I love this! And the TV-stand-turned dresser? Genius!

Nice!
This is a lot like my style – I adore PBK and Target equally.
I love the little rocker!

I am really impressed with the quilt on the curtain rod contraption…looks great! Your TV-stand-dresser-whatchamacallit is wonderful too. I think you deserve your own show on HGTV!

Wow. That’s really great! Love the t.v. stand turned armoire (did I spell that right?) I would never have thought of that. I too bought the Target cube thingy with the canvas drawers. Yours is sooo much better and I’m sure it holds a lot more.
Scissor deflecting plastic! Bwahahaha! That is sooo true. Good godfrey! I am thinking of investing in electric scissors before Christmas. Is it wrong to buy your children’s toys based on how they are packaged?
